Two of Emily’s paintings in our library.

I just heard back from iTunes, they’ve accepted The Writing Bull Podcast into their ranks!

I needed a logo when submitting to iTunes, so I turned to a great artist who just happens to be kin.

Emily McPeek has done well for herself. Her paintings have been displayed in several venues in different countries, among them The Smithsonian in Washington, D.C., and the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg.

“Praying Women” displayed in the Smithsonian a few years back. Inspired by three women she saw while living in El Salvador.

Who else would I turn to, to create a writing bull?

After scrolling down to see her big-ass painting (it covers a third of our wall), check out her website at Emily McPeek. There you can see a lot more of her work, along with her comic strip series, featuring Green the Cat.

And yes, it goes without saying, how proud I am of her.

“L.A. Market.” This big bad baby hung in the State Museum of Russia in St. Petersburg. It was sponsored by the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
